The School of Energy Farming will be a flagship project of the HI Community Center in 2008, promoting sustainable agriculture, land management, and introducing green energy. While nursery efforts continue at the main HI Community campus, an extensive search for a larger campus to launch this program has been ongoing. Located about 45 minutes away from the HI Community Center, the new site is located near the rolling hills of Kishong.

The grand opening was anchored by the graduation ceremony of the inaugural class of Sacred Link Jewelry vocational training students. After 3 months of training and internship, our seven students have become part of the HI Community Center family. Everyone was very proud to be part of the graduation. The graduation ceremony began formally, with an introduction of each graduate and awarding of diplomas. But when the teaching faculty came forward to present a gift to each student, the mood suddenly shifted to spontaneous celebration. The whole crowd was on their feet, and family and friends came forward to join, take their pictures with their loved ones, and share in the community pride.
