Each year, the Bui International Marathon begins in Kumbo, Cameroon.  From the starting line in crowded Mbveh district, athletes run thirteen miles south on roads (sometimes paved, sometimes clay, sometimes loose gravel) to Jakiri village and back.

On Friday morning we drove to the Presbyterian Primary School (PS) Kumbo to deliver school supplies and Help Africa Move Forward gear.

On Thursday, HIC staff donated one hundred Help Africa Move Forward t-shirts to the MilanoKumbo Sports Academy to be used as prizes in their Summer Vacation Sports program.  The Institute also presented athletic training books to complement the sports equipment that was donated in June.
